VU adds to frontcourt personnel with signing of Peoria, IL, standout Jacoby Roddy

The flurry of signings by the Vincennes University Men’s Basketball Team for the 2012-13 season continued Tuesday when VU Coach Todd Franklin inked another highly-touted frontcourt player in 6-5 Peoria, IL, product Jacoby Roddy.
The 2012 Peoria Manual grad had committed early to Wright State but changed his mind and joins recent Trailblazer signee Willie Wiley, giving VU both of the lone ESPN Top-15 recruits in the state of Illinois to choose junior college programs.

Trailblazers land highly-regarded K.C. product; Gerring looks to be possible impact player

Vincennes University Men’s Basketball Coach Todd Franklin has announced the fifth player in the VU recruiting class for 2012-13 and the latest signee is a player that Franklin believes has a legitimate chance to be an immediate impact player for the Trailblazers.

New contract with Region 24 secures 40 games next 2 seasons for VU Men; Agreement also places Trailblazers in Region 24 Tournament

An agreement has been reached between Vincennes University and the 10 Div. I Men’s Basketball programs in the NJCAA’s Region 24 to host home-and-home basketball series during the 2012-13 and 2013-14 basketball seasons, as well as adding VU to the NJCAA District 10 Tournament lineup.
